5 – Mystery Mother (universe_hopper),
- A child with the recurring dream of living with a different family to their own – vivid memories of a different mother
- When the child told their actual mother about the dream, she reveals the day she gave birth – a mysterious woman was cradling the baby in her arms, and when she spotted the mother, she put the baby down and ran off
- The description of this woman lined up with the kid’s description of the mother from their dream, and both of them had always felt like they belonged to different families – as if their souls had been mixed up
4 – Premonitions,
- This one kid who sleep walked every night, turning off all the electronics in the house, grabbing all the kitchen knives, aligned them in a circle, sat in the middle and talked gibberish
- When their dad tried to get them out of the circle, the kid would pick up a knife and shout “He will get you” until he backed away, then continue to sit there for 30 minutes
- The next day when asked about what happened, the kid spoke of a nightmare about this man dressed in all black with fire red light behind him, speaking of awful things and how it was him doing it
3 – Chop (joysprite),
- A mother with a 3 year old daughter who turned around one day to say “Don’t you remember, Mommy? Before, when you were the daughter and I was the mother, they came and chopped all our heads off. Chop, chop, the whole village.”
- Even though the mother was taken aback and a little shocked, she tried to wave it off saying “Fortunately I don’t remember the head chopping”
- To which her daughter chimed in, “Well it happened and I remember it really well” making vicious chopping motions with her hands
2 – Jack in Hell (spnoelle),
- A kid’s stepfather named Jack who sexually molested his mother when she was young, excluded from her family’s life when she got older
- The kid didn’t know any of this, and Jack died with the mother getting informed by telephone that day – the kid walked into the living room to say “He’s screaming in my room and won’t stop.”
- When she asked who was screaming, the kid said the name Jack, and that he won’t stop screaming that he’s in hell
- She asked her kid to describe this Jack, which they did – even down to the hospital gown Jack wore when he died
1 – Dream Bullets (sheldon711)
- The author’s 6 year old cousin who lost their grandfather to a robbery at the convenience store he ran when the armed robber pulled out a gun and shot him
- To lessen the blow, the cousin’s mother told her that grandpa had passed away in his sleep and that he was in heaven now
- To which the little girl replied, “Are you sure he wasn’t shot?”, which her mother denied, and the girl explained “Because I heard gunshots in my dream last night”
