From inappropriate costumes to clumsy decorations, we count 15 of the worst Halloween fails.
Some costumes are for kids, and some are for adults. Want to take a wild guess as to which this was intended? Dressing your little boy as condom packaging is a little tasteless… but hey, kids need to learn about safe sex sometime!
Ebola found itself in the USA back in 2014, and three people came down with it. During that time, people around the world were in a state of fear that the deadly disease could be knocking on their door at any time. So, it would seem obvious to play on people’s fears of getting seriously ill by creating a sexy Ebola nurse costume.

Cat ears are pointy, unlike a mouse’s. This is something kids might learn in kindergarten if not earlier. The employees at this company must live sheltered lives to not know the specific shapes of animal ears. Even then, at least one of them didn’t have a pet cat, or see a mouse scurry along the floorboards?
Do you remember dressing up as your favorite character by wearing a shirt with the character’s picture on it? Most people probably don’t. This alleged vampire costume only has a cartoon drawing of a vampire on the front and… nothing else. This looks like a desperate company wanted to get a product out in time for the Halloween season.
Well, at least they got it out in time.
That baby’s face says it all. The parents probably thought their child’s cute – and more appropriate – chicken costume needed something more. They decided on a chestburster from the “Alien” movies instead of, say, something that actually has to do with chickens.
Many elderly people live their final years in nursing homes, so they don’t need any reminders that death may be just around the corner. This Halloween decoration depicting a graveyard does just that, unfortunately. Picking a different decoration that doesn’t remind these people of death would’ve been ideal.
